Their performance is underpinned by high mechanical and volumetric efficiency, high starting torque, and advanced low-friction, low-wear technology—ensuring dependable operation in demanding applications.
Product Overview
Calzoni Hydraulics dual and variable displacement radial piston hydraulic motors feature proprietary fluid column technology, specifically engineered to maintain exceptional mechanical and volumetric efficiency across a broad range of speeds and torque requirements.
The dual and variable displacement functionality is achieved through a radially movable eccentric cam. By altering the cam’s eccentricity, the motor displacement is adjusted accordingly. Hydraulic cylinders integrated within the drive shaft control the radial movement of the cam, precisely managing displacement changes. In the MRV series, an additional control valve enables step-by-step actuation of the piloting cylinders, allowing for fully variable displacement operation.
The MRD (dual displacement) motor range is available in 8 frame sizes, offering 16 standard displacement options ranging from 300 cc/rev to 8,200 cc/rev.
The MRV (variable displacement) motor range is available in 7 frame sizes, providing 13 standard displacement options ranging from 450 cc/rev to 8,200 cc/rev.

Parking Brakes
Calzoni Hydraulics parking brakes are designed to guarantee to hold a hydraulic system under an external torque.
Product Overview
The Calzoni Hydraulics “B” Brake Series features a spring-applied, hydraulically released multi-disc wet parking brake, specifically designed for applications where securely holding a system under external torque is critical.
Any condition that reduces hydraulic system pressure below the brake’s release threshold will automatically engage the brake, ensuring safety and system stability at all times.
